THEE Decider
He Who Divinely Decides, Decides Best
How can I be PERFECT love and not also PERFECT wrath
How often have I warned before I act
My son's body did I not also freely give on my Saints behalf
A House Divided
It’s a wonder to me how people can still question who the true Jews are; they are clearly described in the bible. Let’s dive in, shall we
In Spite of...Not Because
Waking up is not just about understanding who we are, but who we are as it relates to our God. We were never instructed or expected to bow before our enemy and beg for their help, but to know where to turn and where our help comes from, Psalm 121: 1-3.
Know Your Place
Although it would be massively convenient, it is not the government’s divinely bestowed responsibility to instruct your child, nor is it God’s expectation that a school board or group of well-intentioned strangers be in charge of teaching your child who they are, where they come from and who they belong to?
A Model Father
A prayer most of us are familiar with and located in Matthew 6 is taught by Yeshua to His disciples as He teaches them how to pray. Verse 9 guides the disciples into the affectionate addressing of Yahweh as it relates to them.
A Pledge of Allegiance
As you might have guessed by now, I am no stranger to nor hold any aversion to a bit of fire and brimstone in my speech. As a child, I was first introduced to the dynamic preaching style by men of God who commanded the congregation with determined and far-reaching raised voices, Isaiah 58:1.
A Light-Washed God
Let me ask a quick question: "Would you be willing to severely 'soften' the image of God so as not to repel the rebellious or the unbeliever?” I propose that by the looks of a society that is increasingly brazenly and openly reveling in its sin, that is precisely what we have done.
Sacrifice and Submission
All scripture is God-breathed and profitable, but forgive me, I do have some favorites that absolutely delight me all the more; among them is Romans 5:8, “ But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Matthew 10:5-6 details which sinners Yeshua instructed his disciples NOT to go to. To limit any possible confusion, let’s dive in, shall we? Yeshua speaking;
Critical Theology
Eager ears, waiting to hear, and hearts open to receive the Word of God. Holy Scriptures read, encouraging and reassuring them that their father was with them. That he loved them, cared for them, and had a plan for them. They took the chance of punishment if it meant they could worship.
Distracting Worship
As another season of awards shows presents itself on our various screens, I am reminded of our God-given inclination to worship the things we find worthy of admiration. Gathered around television screens to see people dressed up to receive acclaim for works done in pursuit of self-ambition, fame, personal glory, and fortune.
Forward Facing without Fear
Greetings, my loves! Matthew 5:6. Now, let’s begin. Like so many believers, I genuinely delight in talking about Yeshua, the one sent to seek and to save that which were lost, as he tells us in Luke 19:10. But, who might you ask are the aforementioned lost that Jesus came to seek and to save?
Following After the Folly of Fools
I have to admit of all the posts I have made thus far, all glory be to God; this one gave me the most introspection. Just to be honest. I grew up celebrating the holiday known as Christmas. It was festive and fun and just seemed like the purest and most exciting time ever!
Do You Long For Salvation?
I don’t know about you, but at the mention of salvation, my first thought goes to eternal salvation. The golden blessing of all blessings; being with God forever after our earthly bodies have passed away. It is the crown jewel of our hope. And it is more than a hope for God’s chosen people who have placed their faith in His son, Jesus Christ, who died and rose again for the forgiveness of our sins; it is assured. Jesus is the only way. We have been saved from the wrath of God, that we deserve, all Glory be to God.
What, or Rather Who, is a Saint?
The idea of Saint conjures up different thoughts and images. Usually related to perceptions of religious perfection. Someone whose behavior is above reproach, per religious norms. These perceptions are brought on in no small part by the hijacking of this biblical title of God’s elect by, namely, the Catholics. Which, with all their many controversies, ironically doesn’t even fit our misled idealogy of the word.
Does God Exist?
Does God Exist?
This is one of the most asked questions about the one true living God, Yahweh. Who is the beginning and the end, the first and the last, the alpha and the Omega, THE I am that I am. Does the creator of it all exist?
Does God Love, Everyone? Does God, Love Me?
Does God Love, Everyone?
This question is so often quickly followed by an emphatic, yes, absolutely! Without skipping a beat, we often pour on words of reassurance to the doubtful to comfort said asker in ignorance of what the Holy scriptures actually say.
